Places You Must Go See in Nashville

This summer I took a little girl’s trip to Nashville for one of my besties 21st birthday. And I’m here to tell you everything you need to do on your next trip. So first you need to figure out how long you want to stay there and your reason for why you are going. Are you going to see all the bars? For the insta pics? To sightsee? Or just to drink?

I went for a long weekend about 4 days and 3 nights and that was pretty perfect for me. If you are going for longer than you wil obviously have more time to do more things, but I am going to give you some of the things you NEED to do.

When trying to decide where to stay you want to think about where you will be spending the most time. Whether that be on broadway or somewhere else? Another factor to think about are ubers or who is going to be taking you everywhere, becuase this is Nashville, I know you’re going to be drunk the whole time.

So, if you think about it, staying closer and paying more, but being able to walk most places and not have to pay for an uber might actually save you money. But if you’re looking to go to different places each day or have a driver, then maybe you can save some money and stay further away from the downtown area.

So, let’s talk about Broadway. Broadway is a must. I don’t care if you hate country music and don’t like to drink. Broadway is a must walk down street and you have to go into the signature bars such as Luke Bryans, Jason Aldeans (which fyi are connected on the top floor), Kid Rock, Miranda Lamberts. And I know a few more are coming like a Barstool bar and Luke Combs.

These bars all have something unique about them and they are like 4 floors, where each one is something different. During the day there will be local or start up bands playing covers. It is less crowded and honestly, I liked it during the day better than at night. They also sell Jello shots and other cool things like that during the day. At night it gets very crowded with lines, and it is more club themed with DJs and such. You should still go at night and during the day to see both no matter one. But it is going to depend on preference for when you like them better. It is definitely a younger crowd at night.

So now that Broadway is on your schedule for a day and a night let’s move on to other must dos.

A roof top bar you need to make a reservation at is the Hampton Social. This place is so cool. They have great food and drinks. They brought out a pink guitar with shots on it for my friends 21st. And there are tons of places to get great pictures to post. The vibe is just amazing, and you have to go to see it for yourself.

Now downtown Nashville is where you want to go for the shopping and the food and of course the famous wings wall art. Now this wall HAD A LINE of people waiting to take pics at it. Besides that, the food is amazing everywhere and so are the drinks of course. There are also lots of breweries and other cool places depending on what you are looking for. If you’re going with a big group, you can rent party busses, tractors, military trucks, you name it to party on and tour around the city.

Drinks are expensive… well as expensive as any other famous nightlife city. But seltzers and ciders and beers are cheaper than mixed drinks if you are looking to save some money. We also bought alcohol and had it at our air bnb so we were able to pregame. But you’re always drunk in Nashville.

No matter what you do you are going to have the best time in Nashville because it’s Nashville and everyone loves it. So, if you’re thinking about making a trip, it can even be a short one like a long weekend like I did, you should go. Remember to live a little :)
